PROFILE

            MAN 1 Blangpidie located in a strategic area that is in the city center and protrudes into so far away from the city noise. Parents greatly effected the succes of school to reach the goal. The majarity of parent’s student is civil servent so the rest of them are swasta such as farmer, fisherman, or seller. Society around the school also participate to control students. Most of students go to school by motorbike, just a few of them go by bus or walking. The school facilited enough space for parking area.

            The students must be in school at 07.30 wib. Whoever come late get a punishment like pick up rubbish or grass. MAN 1 Blangpidie has 15 classes consist of  5 classes for first grade (1 excellent, 2 social and 2 science), 5 classes for second grade (1 excellent, 2 social and 2 science) and 5 classes for third grade (1 excellent, 2 social and 2 science). There is a science and computer laboratory complete with the facilities. At the break time students like to visit library to read many kind of book or just sit inside. In this school canteen for women and men students are separated.

            Every Friday morning we have special ceremony that we call Muhadhorah where the students show their skill such as reciting al-qur’an, speech, poem, or something nice. In the evening there is extracurriculum, kind of them are Scout, PMR, Pencak Silat, football, basketball and traditional dance.
